.... "ein Frosch" , "der Strand" und "die Kirche" |

We added some more pictures such as cheeky monkey and friends on the Oarsman's Bay album. And we bought a car for 1200 NZ$ today. Hope it'll get us around NZ. |

...more about the FIJI islands! 1. South Sea Island Finally we deserved a holiday within the holiday and spoilt ourselves with a 2 days/2nights stay at this small paradise ..see fotos! It took about 2 minutes to walk around the island! 5 minutes at slow pace. But lovely and great food. Barbeque buffets for lunch and dinner ( I do not have to mention what that meant for Oli...lots and loads of food!) We enjoyed all the free activities there - kayaking in glassbottom boats, snorkelling, sailing the brandnew catamaran even though there was no wind! ... a superb place and we met more great people there (hello Jenny, Anders, Linas....!!! stay in touch!) 2) WAYA LAI LAI Took the ferry to Wayalailai - a 2-hour- weight-losing trip. Veryrough sea, shocking waves - the trip did not make many people happy! But the great island made up for the horrible trip!....what can I say...let our pictures do the talking! Met more nice people - even a guy from the US who was neither fat nor extremely daft! (Isn't that a real compliment Brian!!!???) Oli and I got lost when hiking without a guide.... felt like being part of Lord of the Flies! We even were called to the meals by a conch! Anyway - this hike.... was shocking and it left me with an open cut on my forehead, a black eye, many cuts on my legs....the whole experience. Don't I lokk good on the pictures, full of dirt and fit as ... But we had a good hike up the rock with Nancy, bob and Christian with great views - even Snutig and Dogy had come along! Jujuuu and I finally got a haircut thanks to Kathy from Karlsruhe! So guys - since I did not have to pay I should at least do some promotion.... an alle KARLSRUHER... geht nach Linkenheim zum Frieseur und lasst euch von Katharina die Haare schneiden....auch wenn sie schon vergeben ist! 3) NACULA ISLAND ...the last island on the Yasawas and very special! The people we hung around with made it even more special (hope all of you are well!) fotos....fotos....fotos...any questions???? Do I have to say more? NEUSEELAND!!!! .....we are in Auckland, got the fleece jumpers out of our backpacks and are trying to buy a camper van - want to take off as soon as we have found one.....can't wait. It's so promising! |
