Dear Mrs. Christina Pluhar,   I couldn't stand buying your new Kapsberger while browsing through the ancient music shelves in a Tel-Aviv music shop. Kapsberger is so extraordinary, warm, mystic, and touching, and there was so little recorded from him. Lucky I was to buy it. I learned to know you through this beautiful disk, so fresh, accurate, mannerism free and lovely, and I definitely fell in love with your music, the way that you played Kapsberger, with your ensemble. Hope to hear you playing here, in Tel-Aviv or Jerusalem. At least will look for your other CDs. Beste Mevrouw Pluhar, Ik sluit me aan bij de talrijke lofbetuigingen van vele bewonderaars die al eerder onder de indruk zijn gekomen van uw muziek. Ik geef toe dat vooral de figuur van Marco Beasley, die ik solo en met Daedalus aan het werk hoorde en zag, mij naar uw laatste CD heeft geleid. Ik kan er niet alleen voortreffelijke zangers maar meteen een schitterend ensemble beter leren mee kennen. Prachtige muziek, ontroering en enthoesiasme. Ik weet dat jullie enige weken geleden in Kortrijk optraden: ik heb het te laat geweten. Jammer. In elk geval gefeliciteerd: "La Tarantella" is heerlijk...

Dear Mrs Pluhar, I have just bought the CD "La Tarantella" and I would like to tell you how much I like it. Its just so emotional, your music makes me danse, lough, cry... I really react very strongly to this music with all my being, and there a not very many CD's that evoke those kind of emotions in me. I want to thank you for what you have given to us,- it is a big present, which enrichens the life! Beste Christina,     Met dit bericht wil ik je zeggen dat de beide CD's (Kapsberger en Landi) "echt waar" de mooiste CD's zijn die ik momenteel in huis heb. Fantastisch wat je met uw ensemble doet. Ik ben echt een grote fan geworden. Dit heb ik trouwens reeds aan Paulina Van aerhoven gezegd.   Vooral de zangers Pino de Vitorio en Marco Beasly hebben me ontzettend ontroerd en ik kan haast niet wachten om me de volgende CD aan te schaffen.   Nog veel succes en ook vele CD's,     Jan Van Elsacker

Chère Mme Pluhar, J'ai eu la grande chance de pouvoir écouter "en avant-première"des extraits de votre nouvel enregistrement La Tarantella lors d'un stage de musique où je faisais de la danse avec Bruna Gondoni. Quel bonheur d'allier la beauté de ces mouvements avec cette musique si émouvante,bouleversante même. Il est impossible de rester de marbre lorsqu'on écoute cette petite merveille.Les voix sont magnifiques,en symbiose totale avec les instruments,à l'image du corps et de l'esprit quand on est pris dans ce flot musical. Avec toute ma sympathie et mon admiration Que viva la musica et merci encore Lisa, jeune violiste de 17 ans Ps:J'ai appris pour votre théorbe...Tous mes voeux "d'espoir",c'est doit être vraiment difficile à vivre.Courage!

j'ai découvert A TARENTELLA par France Musique et l'ai acheté immédiatement. C'est une pure merveille. On en attend beaucoup d'autres de cette qualité, de ce niveau de rêve dont nous avons tant besoin. Mais au fait en quelle langue est-il chanté: italien ancien? c'est très proche du Corse. espère avoir encore beaucoup d'occasions de vous écouter. Peut-être un jour viendrez vous du coté de Toulouse

Dear Christina, I read about your stolen theorbo! That'a really terrible. I hope you will get a new one very soon soon, becaus the sound of your beautiful instrument (I think Klaus T. Jacobsen is the best!) makes just part of the beautiful sound of your group. I feel with you, and it makes me furious to think, that people, who will certinly not know to make such good use of that wonderful theorbo have it in their hands. I wish you all the best!! Dear Christina, I just bought the new Tarantella CD. This is the best CD you have done so far, even though they all are very, very good (I especially liked the Kapsberger CD) But your approach to music is just overwhelming and revolutionary. It is so fantastic to hear the traditional music in a pure state, get rid of modern arrangements and eletronic instruments. It becomes pure emotion. You have an extreme sensibility of instrumentation in order to make voices shine, as we never hear them in other contexts. Also your choice of singers is just perfect taste. I am very touched by your work. The level of Early music CD's and performances has gone down drastically, and it obviously needed you to bring us the joy and high quality of music-making back! Dear Christina, I heard your concert in Utrecht. This was by far the most exciting concert I have heard in the festival for a long time! Congratulations to you, and all your musicians, singers and dancers!! Lucilla Galeazzi is absolutely fabulous, and it is wonderful, that the "early music" audience gets a chance to know her through your work. The dancers were spectacular, and I was especially impressed by Ferdinando and Pietro Gagliardi. Brillant performance, brillant concept, brillant execution! Dear Christina, The concert you gave in Utrecht was suberb, actualy one of the best I ever heard! This is the way old music should sound these day’s. It was like long ago when I first heard Leonhardt in the Bach cantatas when I was a boy, sitting for my radio listening to Belgian radio 3. Ofcourse totaly different music, but it was the spirit from the music and the musicians, that make me feel like I was for a while in Heaven. Again with you, and your wonderful group, there was this spirit! Thank you, and please come back to Holland soon!

Dear Christina Thank you so much for such a fantastic concert which you gave last sunday at the Old Music Festival in Utrecht with L'Arpeggiata and Lucilaa Galeazzi and company in the Napolitan Tarantella. The public went out of their heads so to say, both for the musicians as for the singers and dancers(!). I think this was the best concert of the festival (I only heard 9 of them, out of 70?). I really am looking forward to the Tarantella CD, and shall advice everybody I know to buy it. Hope to see you soon again! Regards to Paulina van Laarhoven!

Aber ich finde es ganz toll, dass Sie als Frau eine eigene Gruppe dirigieren, und gratuliere Ihnen zu diesem Schritt. Die Qualität Ihrer Arbeit zeugt von grossem Talent. Ein großes Kompliment auch an Ihren Webmaster, ich habe noch niemals eine so schön gemachte Seite gesehen! Die Einleitung, die so gut mit der Musik passt gefällt mir besonders gut.

	Müßte ich für jedes Abspielen der Landi-CD einen Euro zahlen, wäre ich ein armer Mann - Echt genial und professionell! Auch alle meine Freunde sind begeistert und wollen sich die CD zulegen. - Die Internetseite finde ich ebenso stark. Da merkt man, daß man Profis am Werk waren. Weiter so! Hi, I love your Cd's, and I enjoyed especially the second one. I love the colours, and the voices. I really think that you have a great talent for chosing the right kind of pieces for different voices. I like very much Marco Beasley's voice, but I think he sounds especially good in the contexts of your group. It seems that he has found the perfect sound surround with Arpeggiata.
