We are in a way "addicted" to your music and we listen to your CDs as frequently as possible. Presently our favourite is the Los Impossibles CD (and the wonderful DVD too). Listening to your music gives us immense pleasure so understandably we will try to buy the tickets for the Warsaw concert as soon as they are available. If possible, please let us know which agency in Poland will be responsible for organizing the concert and distribution of the tickets and where in Warsaw this concert will take place. Dear Christina Pluhar: I was absolutely astonished with the concert in Lisbon; the best I ever heard in my life; pity we in Lisbon are in the borders of Europe, so far away from other concert halls; may be I can go to Zamora or Barcelona, if I will be able to get tickets. Bonjour Quand j'ai acheté "los impossibles" pour en faire cadeau à mon fils, j'ai vite regretté de ne pas me l'avoir fait. Je déambulais entre les rayons de CD et quittais le rayon Flamenco (que j'adore) quand j'ai vu "los impossibles", ça m'a paru tellement impossible de faire cohabiter les King Singers et Pepe Habichuela (les 2 m'ont attiré l'oeil après ...votre regard) que je n'ai pu résister à l'acquérir. Et bien si! C'est possible ! Je me demande même s'il ne serait pas possible de danser le flamenco sur certains morceaux (je participe à un cours de baile). En tout cas :Merci! Sehr geehrte Frau Pluhar, im Dezember 2006 habe ich im Deutschlandfunk die Sendung "La Tarantella" gehört und bin seitdem von L'Arpeggiata völlig begeistert. Erstaunlich ist, daß ich vorher fast niemals "klassische" oder "alte" Musik gehört habe. Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Clapton, Santana usw. waren meine Favoriten; Aber: alles Meister eines Zupfinstrumentes. Im Mai 2007, Köln, habe ich eine Konzertkarte für "All'Improvviso". Durch frühezeitige Buchung sitze ich dann auch vorne in der zweiten Reihe, man will ja auch was sehen, eine Theorbe habe ich neulich erstmals im Museum in Nürnberg betrachtet. Gerne möchte ich mir in Luxembourg Ihr Programm "La Tarantella" anhören und ansehen, der Termin auf Ihrer Webseite ist für den 1.4.2007 angegeben, die Webseite der Philharmonie Luxembourg liefert jedoch keine Ergebnisse; was nun ??? Verehrte Frau Pluhar, meinen ganz herzlichen Dank zunächst für ein unvergeßliches Musikerlebnis in Bad Kissingen und für das liebenswerte Autogramm, welches Sie meinem Sohn nach dem Konzert in das CD-Booklet schrieben oder besser zeichneten. Die Tiefe Ihrer Interpretationen und die Begeisterung, welche Sie und Ihr Ensemble ausstrahlen, ist einzigartig. Ich bin seit vielen Jahren ein großer Anhänger der Musik Italiens des 15. bis 17. Jahrhunderts. Viele Ensembles für Alte Musik habe ich schon live erlebt. Aber erst durch L'Arpeggiata ist mir die Tiefe (aber auch der tiefgründige Humor) dieser Musik so richtig bewußt geworden. Ich hoffe Sie bei einem Ihrer nächsten Konzerte wiedersehen zu können, ganz sicher im Mai in Köln. Für das neue Jahr wünsche ich Ihnen alles Gute, vor allem Gesundheit und die Kraft, den von Ihnen beschrittenen musikalischen Weg fortzusetzen. We have all the Arpeggiata CDs and they all are fantastic. What we especially like about this new one is that you have included the little DVD so that we can see you all performing, it's wonderful to see it all. And you do look like you are enjoying yourselves so much ! I wish I could play an instrument. What is that instrument which looks like it is stringed in small sets of strings and is played with two small sticks ? Is it the psaltérion ? I am fron Venezuela (english version) Congratulations for this work, I think that this is discovering what is behind of the score of the ancient music, of this form returns more interesting this so wonderful genre, I love the music specially baroque and Renaissance, in America there is very much musical ancient content that not distance of All'Improvviso's style as(like) for example http: // www.cervantesvirtual.com ( in that we can find scores of popular music of s the XVIIIth with influence of the baroque in suramerica) between(among) others of the epoch, which it can be interesting to interpret them to a style as L'Arpeggiata, a French group interpret them with great quality as L'Arpeggiata, but I believe that they have been the only ones in recording a complete disc of this manuscript, is interesting because have instrumental and song. L'Arpeggiata's quality is incomparable. Congratulations

Felicitaciones por su trabajo, pienso que se esta empezando a descubrir lo que esta detras de la partitura de la musica antigua, de esta forma se torna mas interesante este genero tan maravilloso, me gusta mucho la musica especialmente la barroca y renacentista, en America hay mucho contenido musical antiguo que no se distancia del estilo de All'Improvviso como por ejemplo http://www.cervantesvirtual.com/FichaObra.html?Ref (Pagina en la que podemos hallar partituras de musica popular de s XVIII con influencia del barroco en suramerica) entre otros de la epoca, los cuales seria interesante interpretarlos a un estilo tan interesante como L'Arpeggiata, un grupo conocido frances los interpreto con gran calidad como la de ustedes, pero creo que han sido los unicos en grabar un disco completo de este manuscrito, La calidad de L'Arpeggiata es inigualable. Exitos.

Can I echo the thanks for the wonderful CD Los Impossibles with the excellent and most informative DVD. I just love the music as do with all the L'Apregiata cd releases. I found it disappointing however not to find a 5.1 DTS soundtrack on the DVD and would have loved the CD to be made available in Surround SACD. The surround SACD version of La Trantella is amazing. Above all though is the marvellous music and the joy you bring to us all through it, many thanks once again for that. I have thoroughly enjoyed the London concerts this year and hope we will have the chance to welcmome you back here soon. Chris

"Los impossibiles" tourne en boucle chez moi et partout lors de mes déplacements. Une vraie drogue!! Les couleurs de l'orchestration, les voix, les tempos transportent. La rencontre des différents styles des guests et de l'ensemble coule de source... Au fil des enregistrements et des concerts, on identifie chaque instrumentiste, ses qualités d'improvisation et sa présence sur scène. Merci tout spécial à Michèle Claude aux percussions ainsi qu'à Elisabeth Seitz, pour son jeu au psaltérion, qui nous fait découvrir cet instrumet et emprunte tout aussi bien les chemins du baroque comme ceux de la musique sud-américaine. BRAVO à tous! Avez-vous d'autres concerts de prévus en 2007 avec Los impossibiles? Merci de me répondre á mon adresse mail laissée précédemment. Boa tarde, Je viens de voir votre programme sur Mezzo, et je sens que vous y faites des miracles en reconstituant/improvisant de la musique ancienne avec une telle force créative, et en véhiculant vos concepts particuliers de l´estétique de la récepton. Souvent la musique ancienne est intreprétée d´une façon vraiment ennuyante; par contre, vous la réanimez d´une empreinte gaillarde (quand il faut), virtuose, charmante... Cara Christina, mi presento subito, sono una musicista amica di Lucilla che gentilmente mi ha invitato al vostro concerto al "castelluccio" l'altra sera, ovviamente sono poi rimasta con Lucilla a salautarla e non ho avuto il tempo di farti i miei più cari e sentiti complimenti per il preciso, delicato lavoro che hai saputo organizzare. Io stessa compongo e arrangio le musiche per le mie formazioni, per cui so bene cosa vuol dire, e per questo ci tengo a farti avere la mia esperienza l'altra sera. E' ormai talmente rara la qualità in tutti i sensi, e lì ce n'era tanta, gli interpreti tutti straordinarìi, l'ascolto tra di voi sottile, evidentemente la guida chiara.. sehr geehrte frau pluhar! ich hab es zwar nach dem konzert im künstlerzimmer persönlich gemacht, dennoch möchte ich ihnen hier, auf diesem weg, nocheinmal danke sagen für das wunderbare konzert in st. veit, es war einfach überwältigend!! so viel elan und esprit, gepaart mit wissenschaftlicher kenntnis über die zeiten und ihre stile, und dazu noch allesamt große musikerpersönlichkeiten - einfach toll! und für uns als hackbrettisten ist es wunderbar zu erleben, wie sie diesem instrument die chance geben, wieder zu dem zu werden, das es einmal war... ich habe im internet gelesen, dass sie auch in graz unterrichten - am institut für alte musik? wo ist derzeit ihr pädagogischer hauptsitz? den haag, graz oder paris? geben sie auch meisterkurse, bei denen man sich mit hackbrett/salterio anmelden dürfte? mit der bitte um ein remail und ganz lieben hackbrettistischen grüßen, ihre carmen gaggl
