Après avoir longtemps et vainement chercher sur la toile des éléments concernant une date de concert avec votre ensemble à Lyon le 4 décembre, je me suis qu'il valait mieux s'adresser au bon dieu, plutôt qu'à ses saints. J'ai découvert l'Arpeggiata par l'intermédiaire de France Musique et depuis, je n'arrête plus et mes deux enfants(Antonin 9 ans et Héloïse 7ans) sont très touchés par Los Impossibles , All'Improvisio et Tarentelles (on les passait en boucles dans la voiture durant les vacances) Il y a aussi les autres... Maintenant nous attendons qu'une occasion pour aller vous voir sur scène, nous habitons en Bougogne. Alors, y aura t'il bien un concert à Lyon le 4 décembre et si oui à quel endroit? Les réservations sont elles ouvertes? Merci mille fois pour ces cadeaux musicaux et pour tout le travail de recherche et d'expression artistique que vous menez . Je vous admire depuis longtemps et je ne souhaite qu'une chose : Vous rencontrer ! mais les Hautes-Alpes sont sans doute loin de vos projets de tournées ... encore que, je n'habite qu'à 100 km de l'Italie que j'adore !!!!! J'étais à ROME l'an passé, j'ai visité le Palais BARBERINI ... et lorsque j'écoute religieusement Stéfano LANDI.. j'y suis encore ... vos enregistrements sont de pures merveilles. BRAVO pour "Los Impossibles" le DVD est merveilleux et les King's singers feraient danser un .... cul-de-jatte... (désolée) mais je suis une INCONDITIONNELLE de ce genre de musique que vous interprétez admirablement Merci mille fois pour tout ce bonheur ! I'll be writing a review in the next issue of Early Music Review , even more enthusiastic than the one of the CD. I was near the front (third row), and swapped notes with a friend sitting near the back, who may have heard a better balance. The theorbo might even have been a fraction too loud -- something I've never encountered before! Marvellous to see players enjoying themselves (and each other -- your facial reactions are amazing). I have been a great fan of L'Arpeggiata for some years - and regularly listen to all your CDs. It thus pains me to have to be critical, having just come back from your performance at Tewkesbury Abbey (UK)tonight - together with the King's Singers. Your performance was doubtless as good as ever - but I was quite unable to tell one way or other. I was in the mid-priced seats in the nave, towards the back, but cetainly not at the back - and there were three problems. Firstly you were too quiet to be heard properly. Secondly, the severe reverberation meant that all the detail of your wonderful music was lost in a blur. And thirdly you were completely invisible, because you were at the same level as the whole audience - i.e. seated on a level floor. These problems could have been mitigated to some extent by putting the audience in a circle around you, instead of a very deep and narrow audience, as though we were in a tunnel. And you could have been on a raised stage - it isn't that hard to erect a temporary one. I dare say these problems were not of your making. However, you do yourselves no favours by failing to reach your audience. It would be better not to come at all, if you cannot get a suitable venue - because you end up with a frustrated audience who then put out a negative message. Or perhaps worse an indifferent audience. Its doubly frustrating because last night I was at another concert in the Pittville Pump Rooms, which are far more intimate, with a wonderful acoustic - and I suspect that seeing you there would have been as stunning as I expect. I hope you will accept this as constructive criticism! And I look forward to hearing you some time in a good venue.

The soloists were listed in the program as Nuria Rial and Lucilla Galezaai. With all our hearts, especially mine, we would like to buy a CD of that performance - or something very, very similar. We tried to purchase a CD that evening, but I was told that it was sold out. I purchased the CD that was available, Tarantella, its wonderful, but just not the same. Bonjour Christina, Merci pour le concert donné hier soir à la cathédrale de Mende. J'ai passé un moment formidable avec l'Arpeggiata. J'habite vers le Puy en Velay et je n'ai pas regretté les kilomètres que j'ai fait pour venir vous voir. Vous étiez tous formidable ! Dommage qu'il y ait eu peu de monde pour cet instant d'une qualité rare. Après le concert, je n'ai pas osé m'approcher de la scène. J'étais encore dans l'émerveillement ! Petite anecdote, en repartant en voiture, je vous ai aperçu dans la rue, sur le chemin de l'hôtel j'imagine, avec les instruments sous le bras. Veronika (que je trouve charmante !) et vous discutiez avec Eero qui buvait une bière à la terrasse d'un café... Dernier souvenir en rentrant sur le Puy ! Voilà, j'espère sincèrement revoir l'ensemble en concert et retrouver l'émotion de celui de Mende. Merci encore ! Stéphane

Ich habe natürlich schon bei Ihren Terminen nachgeschaut, bin aber nie ganz sicher wo die angeführten Städte liegen. Sehr Frau Pluhar Durch die CD-La Tarantella- und Einzelne im Radio gehörte Stücke, habe ich Ihre Arbeit schon ein wenig kennengelernt und bin vollends begeistert. Kürzlich habe ich nun im Radio auf france musique die Uebertragung des Konzertes vom August 2006 in Utrecht gehört und meine Begeisterung war grenzenlos. Da ich die gespielten Stücke in den herausgegebenen CD's nirgens finden konnte, meine Anfrage. Sind sie überhaupt auf einem Tonträger erhältlich, allenfalls auf einem Mitschnitt vom Konzert? Wenn ja; welche Möglichkeit besteht, sie zu erwerben? So oder so werde ich die Gelegenheit benutzen, bei einem der kommenden Konzerte, diesen sinnlichen Genuss zu erleben. Die CD Los Impossibles ist für uns die CD des Jahres.(bei einer wirklich grossen CDSammlung) Das Highlight ist für uns jedoch am11.Mai 2007, wenn wir Ihr Konzert in Hohen- ems besuchen,zum Glück in der 1.Reihe!!!
