Nice to meet a Finke-family in the net!!! My grandmother's familyname was Finke. Her uncles emigrated to the US. We don't know exactly the time, maybe in the years from 1890 to 1914. They were born in Isenstedt, it's a village belonging to Lübbbecke (roundabout 80 km from Hanover). So it's interesting to see that there are Finkes all over the world - best wishes Birgit |

Hello from Detroit Michigan USA! My grandfather William Finke was born outside of Berlin in around 1915. I believe he had several brothers and sisters, but our family has had very little contact with them since the early 1960's. |
